“You won’t believe how fun a pre-school educational show can be until you book this show!”

We are all aware that a lifetime of decent dental hygiene is best started as young as possible. The earlier children are introduced to good habits, and the sooner they learn which foods are good for them, the better.

Wacky Woody’s Smiley Teeth Magic Show is aimed at 3,4 and 5 year olds and it delivers the message that dental hygiene and a healthy diet are crucial. It also promotes the message that a visit to the dentist is a positive experience.

The show does this is a fun way, mixing magic, comedy and audience participation to drive home these important messages.

The kids will go home talking about this show, why not book today and add to the things you already do that reassure parents they are getting the quality that you promote?

Mulberry Bush Nursery Group loved the show, here’s what they had to say:

“Our Pre-school children enjoyed a visit from Wacky Woody this morning who entertained them with his Smiley Teeth Magic Show. They absolutely loved learning about how to brush their teeth and foods that are good and bad for them though magic, fun and laughter. It was great to see the children laughing with th
eir friends whilst learning about something really important. Bravo Wacky Woody!”

Dentist Laura Rice from Apollonia House Dental & Healthcare in Saddleworth loved the show and thought that it gave a very positive message about dental hygiene!

Here’s what she had to say:

I recently had the good fortune to watch the Wacky Woody Smiley Teeth Show at my 4 year-old son’s pre-school. I am a dentist for the Portman Healthcare group and have one work to sum up this show – FANTASTIC! Wacky Woody presents an entertaining show of comedy and magic, while ensuring the children receive positive messages with regard to oral hygiene, healthy diet and visiting the dentist. The information is pitched at the right level for 3-5 year age group with repetition of the key messages. My son was thoroughly entertained and often repeats the mantra “Brush your teeth twice a day, bad food – no way, visit the dentist Hooray!” As a dental care professional I am thrilled that someone has approached oral health promotion in such an entertaining and engaging way. I would strongly urge pre-school and reception age children to watch the show and take home the positive health messages. Well done Wacky Woody!

How the message is delivered.

The show breaks the message down into three stages:

Stage One:

Explains why brushing teeth twice a day is important. Demonstrating best technique and the consequences of not brushing.

The children learn magic words making a toothbrush and toothpaste appear from nowhere! These magic words are repeated throughout the show to drive the message home.

A fun magic trick involving “Tommy” – the boy who didn’t brush his teeth twice a day, shows the children the consequences of failing to brush their teeth.

Stage Two:

Explains that sugar is bad for teeth and shows which foods contain sugar. The children are given an understanding of which foods are good for them and shown that water is the best thing that they can drink.

The children learn more words that magically show them which foods contain sugar – the kids are amazed by this trick!

They learn which foods are best to pack in a picnic as carrots and bananas are pulled from thin air.

Finally Robbie the lovable puppet dog drives home the message when he plays “The Food Game” – the kids adore this magic mutt.

Stage Three:

Explains that a trip to the dentist is a positive experience.

The children learn the final set of magic words and through the use of comedy are shown what to expect at the dentist and why there is no need to be scared.

All three messages learnt in the show are then summarised in a unique and humorous way.
