Wacky Woody’s Comedy Magic Show and parties are brought to you by me, Dominic Woodward. I’m a professional comedian, actor, kid’s magician and CBBC studio warm up host. I started performing at the age of 4 in the school nativity play, I played the Inn Keeper. I’ve been on the stage ever since, (some say I have improved since then)!
With over 20 years as a professional in the entertainment industry, I have performed all over the world! I have done thousands of shows and I have worked at some of the best known comedy venues in the UK including: The Comedy Store, The Frog and Bucket, Hot Water, Jongleurs, The Stand, The Buzz Club and many more.
I have worked extensively abroad for Tui including at their 5 Star Sensatori Resorts in Egypt, Crete, Cyprus, Ibiza and Turkey. I also work for Warner Leisure Hotels at their amazing venues throughout the UK.
I supported Britain’s Got Talent finalist, Daliso Chaponda, on his nationwide tour following his success on the show.
My live TV appearances include BBC2 and ITV and I starred in “It’s Adam and Shelly” (BBC3), Comedy Shuffle (BBC2) and Emmerdale, as well as providing voices for Comedy Radio Drama on Radio 4.
I have acted as a CBBC studio warm-up host most recently for “The Johnny and Inel Show”. I have toured primary schools with award winning children’s author, Adam Perrott with, the hit show, “The Mugglewump Book Troupe”!
I’m originally from Chadderton, Oldham. I got married in 2012 and I now live in Ramsbottom, Bury. I’m happily married to my amazing wife, I have a daughter called Olivia who was born in 2015 and son called Freddie who was born in 2017.
In 2023 I was appointed to the board of governors of a local primary school in Bury as a Foundation Governor.
In 2019 I ran my first half marathon in our amazing city of Manchester.
I like Doctor Who, attempting DIY and cooking tasty food!
